We have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated 25th inst., in reply to ours of 14th inst., and are pleased to learn that you are willing to arrange for a further trial in Connaught Road, adjacent to the part already treated with "COLFIX", and to give us every assistance possible in carrying out the test. We wish to state that
the date and time suggested, viz: Tuesday, July 2nd, at 9.30 a.m., meets with our entire approval.
We take it that the "COLFIX" to be used in
the proposed trial is part of the five barrels forwarded to you sometime ago. We would prefer, in order to obtain satisfactory results, to use recently manufactured material, we should, therefore, deem it a favour if you will kindly let us know where the "COLFIX" you at present have is stored, so that we can uplift same and make replacement, as we are naturally out to give satisfaction by obtaining the best results.
We would like to point out that though the
previous experiment was carried out under the direct supervision of two of our representatives, the necessary hard brushes for the brushing of the road surface were not available on site, as outlined in the first paragraph of our letter of the 14th inst., however, as we are favoured with your assurance that every assistance possible will be rendered us in the forthcoming test, the necessary utensils and material will be to hand.
Trusting we shall be favoured with an early reply as to where and when we can take delivery of the "COLFIX" you have in stock.
